Just like a busy writer who hasn’t got time to read any books, I never actually had enough time to conduct an in-depth research on my own family. This year, me and my father thought that this was the highest time for a trip to our family hearth. A short photostory of our wandering though the vast fields of Białe Kujawy ( The White Kuyavia).

- A visit to Modzerowo cemetery – Wiesiek found his mother’s and sister’s grave
- Ciepliny village. Our family house was destroyed by a lightning in 1939. Local people remembered the story and guided us where to go.
- We found no remains of Jozef and Wacława Czuprynski’s cottage. The place is marked though with cherry trees growing.
