Whoever saw, whoever knows… Fuks family from Brzeziny

The results of my previous research on Fuks family from Brzeziny can be viewed below. Any further information on the families of Moshe, Aron, Fiszel, Zelman, Szmul and Mendel Fuks will be  highly appeciated.

Moszek (Moshe) Leib FUKS

On the 6 May 1940 Moszek, his wife and children (apart from Liba Ruchla) were relocated to Brzeziny ghetto.

They lived at Mittelstrasse 7 ( Polish name of the street – Staszica 7 ). There they shared a flat with the family of his brother Aron.

Had 3 children : Jankiel, Lipman Lajser, Anschel ( birth dates not known, most probably all three were deported to Kulmhof death camp right after the liquidation of Brzeziny ghetto )

Whole family of Liba Ruchla lived in Brzeziny ghetto at Litzmannstaedter strasse 7.

The only person from the family that for certain survived the liquidation of Brzeziny ghetto is Liba Ruchla.

She was transported to Litzmannstadt ghetto (on 14 Jul 1942 ) and lived at Hamburger str 11/41( Strażacka Street), then Muhlgasse 36/34 and Insel strasse 23.

Died of typhus in August 1943 ( Litzmannstadt ghetto hospital records)

On 8 Aug 1940 Aron and his family were relocated to Brzeziny ghetto. He lived there with his father-in-law, Bem Szlama, Salcia (Aron’s granddaughter ), Bem Bernek (some relative)

31 May 1942   –  Transported with wife(?) and some children to Litzmannstadt ghetto. Lived at Hamburger str 11/41.
